When I thought about writing a MANual for males on how to be a Real Man the play on the word MANual really tickled me and, as always, I consulted my dictionary for the actual definition of a manual: it is a book containing information or practical instructions. So, it fitted perfectly with my intention, to give boys and males a practical, information-filled guide to being a Real Man.
